Brilliance in Biocommunications- Phoenix – June 2011

Once again, the Association of Biomedical Communications Directors will be partnering with the Health and Science Communications Association to convene their annual meetings. This years event is being held in Phoenix, Arizona, June 1-4, 2011. More conference information can be found at the Brilliance in Biocommunications web site.

BioComm 2010 Begins with a Trip to Fenway

The first night activities at BioComm 2010 Boston was spent making new connections and renewing existing ones.

An opening reception gathered attendees and provided the opportunity to share food and drink.

ABCD sent a group over to Fenway Park to see the SOX and Athletics go at it. It was a great evening – summer heat, the excitement of seeing a baseball game in a what some consider a national treasurer, and a chance to catch up with friends from Texas, New York, Nebraska, and Massachusetts.

2010 Meeting Date Announced

June 2 – 5, 2010
Boston, MA

The 2010 annual conference will be a combined meeting of the BioCommunications Association (BCA), the Health and Science Communications Association (HeSCA), and the Association of Biomedical Communications Directors (ABCD). This meeting will showcase some of the finest, most interesting applications of technology in communications, creative applications, and problem solving solutions to communication and imaging challenges.  Historic Boston – a popular destination for many reasons – will host the conference at a central, downtown location.
